![]() What really has convinced me is I downloaded XPlane11 demo calibrated my same controls and they work flawlessly in fact they work beyond flawlessly, I could never get my payware aircraft to feather the props and on some but not all would go into beta. I plugged my controls into my old i5 3570 win 7 FSX computer and they work as expected. I have verified beyond a doubt, at least for me, that it is indeed a problem with P3d. ![]() My VFTQ6 throttle quadrant does not work with the P3d v4.3 client, it worked with 4.1, I skipped 4.2. I know this might be circumstantial evidence but I have no other explanation. What I have found so far is this appears to be a P3D v4.3 problem and not my computer or hardware. I have an update to my problem with my controls to anyone who might be interested or have similar problems. ![]() One more observation, when I use the keyboard the throttles work smoothly in the combined axis mode.Īnyone have any insights or suggestion would be appreciated. An interesting thing when I go to calibrate the throttles the calibration range shows my Y and X axis for the throttles but there is a third axis RX that keeps popping up after I have deleted everything ! I have to assume this is the problem somehow but have no clue what to do about it. I have double checked that all axis assignments have been deleted everywhere that I could find them including FSUICP5. My first thought was a pot had gone bad in the VF TQ6 so I disconnected it and assigned the CH yoke controls to the throttles and I have the same problem. It is either full on or full off with a huge null zone in the middle. Here is the problem, all of the control axes assignments are programmed and calibrated using P3D V4.3 with the exception of the Crosswind rudders that use their own software, and all of them work with exception of my number 2 throttle. I have FSUIPC5 installed but do not use it for this application. CH Flight SIIVI yoke for my primary control surfaces and I use the MFG Crosswind V2 rudder pedals. I have the VirtualFly TQ6 as my throttle, prop, and mixture controls. So manually edit the file, making sure that the same number is not used for more than one axis. After searching the forum I saw there are people that have the same problems with programming their throttle quadrant but I do not see a solution yet. The last number is the function assigned to the specific axis (0=unassigned, 1=pitch, 2=roll, 3=yaw, 4=throttle).ģ) If you have more than one axis assigned to the same number/function, you'll have a conflict. If you still have issues, you could try to resolve it with a manual operation:ġ) Open the file: "X-Plane 11\Output\preferences\X-Plane Joystick Settings.prf"Ģ) Halfway in the file, you'll find a list like this: Then reconnect the devices one at a time and run X-Plane each time assigning them one by one. "As a last resort you could try going to the folder 'X-Plane 11\output\preferences' and delete the file 'X-Plane Joystick Settings.prf', and the content of the folder 'control profiles'. I read this blog on and this guy called Murmur from Italy suggested: That will also cause strange problems with X-plane. Originally posted by opjose:Make sure your HOTAS is also not enabled for Steam's BIG PICTURE mode. when I go to joystick, it says my hotas is the only device :/ I never installed any drivers and my ps4 controller is unplugged. Then only use the HOTAS setup and configure X-plane for it. You should unplug the PS4 controller and uninstall any drivers for it. You have the same problem with the other axis and buttons, but you haven't noticed it yet because the other axis or buttons are centered. So one may be telling X-plane to go full throttle, while the other does the exact opposite. So you end up with TWO devices that each control aileron, rudder, elevator and THROTTLE. If you also have a HOTAS setup it too will get assigned the full set of flight controls in X-plane. This includes a button or trigger for the throttle. If you have a PS4 controller it will be automatically assigned to have a full set of flight controls in X-plane. Sorry im having trouble understanding what you mean about remove duplicate throttle and where I go to find it.
